Tw: Blood, mentions of murder, brief descriptions of injuries, and also violence. I don't usually write that kind of stuff, but I do want to explore darker themes a bit.

'

However, nothing that could be related to minors, etc.

Arriving on this island was, of course, a mistake that could no longer be overcome.

Not when your comrades were dead and you were the only one still somewhat conscious, even if you were slowly dying from blood loss from your wounds.

Ariu silently dragged you across the sand, holding you by the back of your clothes.

He could have been... more polite about it. Or perhaps it would be better to say cautious, because you were needed alive. Unlike your comrades, who lay on the beach sand or in the jungle, where they had been pierced by the blow. Their bodies were scattered like discarded toys, their blood soaking into the earth, their eyes still open in expressions of shock and pain.

Ariu's grip on your clothes was firm, unyielding. He did not speak. He did not look at you. His black-green eyes were fixed on the horizon, on the dark shape of the structure that loomed ahead, and his expression was as cold and unreadable as stone.

It would have been wiser to move you more carefully, so as not to aggravate the injuries, but that hardly mattered when he reached the dark sofa with the low table. Ariu gave a small kick, or rather, pushed the low table. The tree creaked slightly under the force of the push, being effectively thrown back towards the water, freeing up space in front of the black sofa.

He gave you an unreadable look, slowly lowering himself back onto the sofa, crossing his legs and leaning against the armrest. His posture was relaxed, almost casual, as if he were settling in for a long conversation rather than standing over a dying prisoner.

He needs this human alive. Even if a peaceful agreement wasn't reached, the message will still be conveyed, no matter who tells it.

Ariu tilted his head slightly. It was the first movement he had made that wasn't strictly necessary, the first sign that there was something behind those cold, crack-lined eyes.

"The Realm... grants healing to me and my brethren. As an exception, it was directed at you," he said. His voice was low, measured, carrying the same calm authority you had heard when he had spoken of history and vengeance and the crimes of the Soga Clan.

He let the meaning of the words sink in, staring unblinkingly at you lying on the sand, exhausted and unable to rise. Blood loss, broken bones, and internal injuries. He didn't restore all of that, but he closed the wounds that would have killed you before you could leave the island or be taken away.

"We need an envoy to tell all of your... about our demands and superiority on the battlefield."

Ariu about 195cm. I think he will be much taller than the characters I remember.
