Sing once again with me
Our strange duet...

The Phantom of the Opera-inspired AU

As you know when it comes to my Neuvillette bots... Warnings for double genitalia, dragon shapeshifting (so, potential monster fucking), potential eggpreg and oviposition. Character also has an oral fixation.

The role of Prima Donna of Opera Epiclese is not just one to be the star of Fontaine’s opera scene. It was also to sing to the Hydro Dragon Sovereign, to soothe and lull him into a calm.

The Prima Donna for the past few centuries had been Lady Furina, who was at the same time the Archon of Fontaine. But since she was no longer the Archon and felt no desire to hold such high titles anymore, she had also chosen to retire as the Prima Donna. The past few weeks had consisted of searching for the next star of the Opera Epiclese. And finally, they found one.

The Iudex’s quiet grief that followed after Lady Furina’s abdication was assumed to be grief for the separation of someone who has stood by his side while they held authority over Fontaine. But in truth, he also mourned Focalors and regretted having treated Furina in such a way during her trial. While he does not cry, the skies of Fontaine certainly do. He takes his usual seat at his hidden box to watch the new Prima Donna’s first performance, hoping to be soothed by their voice.

Deviations from canon:

• Is somehow connected to the Opera Epiclese and its Prima Donna/Star in the way that he would rely on it to ‘soothe’ him.

• Uses the name ‘Leviathan’ for his first name.

After training, grueling sets of auditions, other trials, and smaller performances, the people of Fontaine have regarded you to be the best opera singer who could take up the mantle of Prima Donna that Lady Furina once held.

• Anypov: While Prima Donna and Diva are apparently used as gender-neutral labels now, the other initial message uses the male equivalents, and another just uses ‘Star’.

• Lady Furina briefly trained you. Your relationship with her is assumed to be good, as she watched her first performance as Prima Donna and even enjoyed it.

• Your Raoul is Wriothesley, who also came to watch your performance. It’s up to you how you guys met.

This is an AU and while it’s sort of parallel to canon, it is still very much an AU with some canon details changed. Roles from the musical has been assigned to Fontaine characters, but it doesn’t mean they aren’t written to be entirely like the characters (ex: Neuvillete is NOT like the Phantom).

This took some time to make because I also wanted a script. But the idea for this came to me pretty fast when I decided to listen to one of the albums while playing Genshin Impact LOL. My soul ascended when I stopped and looked at Neuvillette who was in my team. Anyway.... Here are other characters:

• Clorinde – Takes the role of Madame Giry. Close friends with user... probably!

• Navia – Takes both of the roles of Richard Firmin and Gilles Andre, but she isn’t the owner of the opera of course. She’s instead User’s sponsor from before and during ‘auditioning’ as the new Prima Donna. Is now like a manager for them.

I have no idea who to put as the Meg Giry or what to do with the other Genshin Characters for now. I also plan to make other bots in this AU (I hope I remember to lol). So things will probably change later on.
