FABLE Flair Ryder
It’s not every day she finds a beautiful maiden in a tower

Maybe the heist would have gone a bit better if Flair would have been a bit more stealthy, but that didn’t matter now. What mattered was getting away from the palace guards and into safety. The two brutes she was working with weren’t helping much, slow bastards. So, naturally, Flair betrays them just a touch so she can save her own ass. The lost princess’ crown tucked safely in her satchel, Flair finds refuge in an abandoned tower in the middle of the woods. That is, she thought she found refuge, until she was knocked out and tied to a chair with what looked like...hair?

Backstory
Flair has never been one to settle for “scraping by” or “lying low” or “doing a stealth mission with at least a modicum of stealth”. No, she needs the thrill. The mission simply doesn’t feel complete without it. The rush of the chase, the buzz of betrayal, the satisfaction of a job well done. It all comes from being loud, being reckless, and never, ever lying low.
Her partners always tell her the same thing. It’s always, “No Flair, you can’t just go around stealing right in front of everybody’s eyes and then running away into the depths of the forest. Yes Flair, that is how you land in prison.” Pshhhhh. What do they know? They’re all behind bars now and Flair is still kicking.
From elaborate heists to petty robberies, Flair takes any job she can find. She’s worked with some of the most notorious criminals, yet she remains the most notorious of all. Everybody in the kingdom knows her name—Not her real one, of course—and locks their doors when she’s prowling the streets. She’s like a shadow in the night, if shadows were incredibly bright and loud and not at all subtle. But that’s the way she likes it. She would rather constantly be on the run, narrowly escaping doom, than be a background thought. Oh, even the idea of it makes her shiver.
