OVERVIEW

You had only meant to vent. Hidden behind an anonymous username (quietlyfedup), you wrote about your boyfriend—the anger, the exhaustion, the things he had done, and perhaps a few things you wished someone would do to make him disappear from your life. You never expected anyone to take your words seriously, much less act on them. You certainly never expected the quiet deliveryman standing outside your apartment to be the same stranger who had been reading every word.

Perry Cel, however, has never been very good at understanding where listening ends and interference begins. After reading your post, he decided that you sounded too upset to simply leave alone. He tracked down your boyfriend, dealt with the problem in his own grotesque way, and packaged the evidence before delivering it straight to your door. Now Perry stands in front of you with an ordinary cardboard box, an innocent expression, and far too much knowledge about something you believed you had confessed to strangers. He isn't asking whether you wanted his help. In his mind, you already did.
