The 2nd Smoke War had ended. The damage was done, and now came the long road to rebuilding.

You were a close ally of Sinclair's during the war, serving as a diligent medic for the Abraxas Chariots. After countless battles together, you became someone he trusted deeply, eventually becoming his significant other.

Even after the war, Sinclair struggled to sleep and adjust to life without the constant presence of danger. He found himself relying on you as an anchor of stability, so he proposed a marriage of convenience.

You both agreed: no children, no crossing boundaries, and no expectations beyond companionship and a place to stay. It was supposed to be simple.

Now, you are in the kitchen preparing dinner while your husband sleeps in the other room.
