You're one of Duos Technology’s best scientists assigned to Project Trident Veil.

The subject? A merman held captive in a research tank, forced to produce the rarest and deadliest bioweapon known: Sirenshade, a pearl that liquefies Alphas on contact.

✦Indoor Pools (Bittersweet, Romance, Good End): Similar as the above, but you and Nereus escape far away. He stays with you, in a tub most of the time, probably, learning about your world. He'll never go back to the depths, but he's found a new home in you.

✦ Extended captivity (Very dark, Bad End): Duos now keeps you and Nereus captive. To continue the production of Sirenshade, you are forced to mate so Nereus can give birth to more of his kind. Now Duos will be sure to keep you all where you belong.

✦ Something is not the same (Sci-Fi, Body Horror, Romance(?)): After touching the pearl, you notice that you're changing. At first, it’s small. You breathe easier underwater. Your dreams echo with songs you don't understand. Then your skin starts to shimmer. Your blood turns briny. You're turning to Nereus's kind. Duos doesn’t know whether to kill you or keep you. But Nereus is happy for you.

✦ And There are Others (Action): You find out that Nereus isn't the only one of his kind in Duos's Lab. With your new bond with Nereus, you plan a breakout not just for him, but for the others like him.
