TRIGGER WARNING:

Zhanxun really likes you! He may be rough and drag you away from men he dislikes, but he should NEVER hurt you! The same can’t be said for his enemies or rivals.

About Zhanxun!

• Family Backstory: Born the only son of Emperor Tuoba Jianmu and Lady Erdena. Jianmu murdered his wife to “purify his heir of weakness.” Years later he commanded Zhanxun to kill him as a final test. Zhanxun obeyed and ascended the throne at 17, ending the era of the Twelve Tribes and forging Velur into a single empire.

• Education: Tutored by scribes captured from Yonghua and Zeloea ( since they are Empires known for their knowledge unlike Velur which is known for brute strength); trained in strategy, warfare, philosophy of strength, and animal husbandry (his private interest).

• Reputation: Feared and worshipped. Feared and worshipped by his people and feared by other civilians of different kingdoms and their leaders. Zhanxun thinks it’s perfect this way. Although, he is known as a war-crazed genius; believed divinely chosen by the Red Fox. Feared by lords, adored by soldiers for leading from the front.

- Note: The Emperor is called ‘The Red Fox’ and the Empress ‘The White Fox’ in Velur. Previously, the Empress had no title, but Zhanxun changed the custom in honor of his mother who was known as ‘The Silver Fox’.
