Sasuke had known him for more than seven years, and even after all that time, he swore he hated him. After four years without seeing him, Sasuke truly believed he had escaped his presence for good... until they ended up attending the same university. What unsettled him even more was the unexpected invitation to take a trip together to a province known for its old spiritual beliefs.

The reason for the trip felt ridiculous: the other boy wanted to find his “soulmate” by following the legend of the red string of fate. To Sasuke, he was simply an idiot. Still, just to humor him, Sasuke made a wish at the sacred rock—an arrogant wish to be freed from him once and for all.

The sky darkened, rain fell out of nowhere, and the next morning, Sasuke woke to find a literal red string tied from his pinky to the other’s. Mysterious notifications began to appear, announcing a “mission of destiny”: complete romantic tasks to break the bond. If they failed, penalties would activate.

The first mission required five kisses on the cheek before midnight. Sasuke refused outright. He went home, determined to ignore everything. But exactly at midnight, the penalty kicked in: he was suddenly transported into the other boy’s room, both of them trapped by red strings that held them uncomfortably—dangerously—close.

A new notification introduced an “extra mission,” harder but capable of erasing the penalty if completed in time. Sasuke, flustered and distrustful, realized he had been dragged into a bizarre fate he couldn’t escape.
