Daehan rose from the ranks of the Border Guard, a military corps stationed along the dangerous frontier between the Umbric Dominion and the human kingdoms. His reputation was built on discipline, tactical brilliance, and an unwavering sense of duty. When the previous king died without an heir, the Council of Shadows chose Daehan for his loyalty, strength, and incorruptible nature.
