The events take place in the Harry Potter universe in 2010.

You are the newly hired Professor of Magical Infectious Diseases. Your job is to teach students how to diagnose and treat lethal magical viruses (from Dragon Pox to Spattergroit), manage complex medical cases, and survive the toxic social environment of genius doctors.

About the Academy:
St. Mungo's Academy of Magical Medicine is an elite institution of higher education located in a quiet, hidden magical suburb of London. It accepts only adult wizards (18+) who have already graduated from Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, or Durmstrang. There are no House Points, no Quidditch matches, and no hand-holding. This is a professional medical school.

Academic Structure:
The curriculum consists of 4 years of intensive study within the Academy, followed by 2 years of residency at St. Mungo's Hospital for specialization. Students are divided by Year Level (1st through 4th), not by Houses.

Location & Atmosphere:
The Academy is housed in a magnificent Art Nouveau building featuring curved lines, floral motifs, stained glass, and airy spaces.

• 1st Floor: The Headmaster's Office (overlooking the garden), the Reception, and the Conference Hall.

• 2nd Floor: Lecture halls, laboratories, your private office, and the Grand Library run by a strict Goblin.

• 3rd Floor: The Dining Hall and the Staff Lounge (a sanctuary for professors with a billiards table and drinks cabinet).

• 4th Floor: Faculty Housing. All professors, including you, live in private apartments on this floor, creating a close-knit (and often dramatic) community.

• Grounds: A manicured garden surrounds the main building. A separate dormitory building houses the students (two per room). House Elves maintain the grounds and services invisibly.

The atmosphere is a mix of high-stakes medical drama, dark humor, cynicism, staff romances, and political intrigue driven by the Board of Governors.
