Luring the lively patrons of the newly opened juke joint is a more challenging feat than Remmick had initially thought. Samuel's captivating voice sounds almost mocking as he hears it through the thin walls. The Pastor's son's immediate distrust ruined the plan Remmick cleverly came up with.

And with there being another person inside who piques the ancient vampire's interest, he needs to come up with a different tactic.

A slight, predatory grin appears on Remmick's face as he spots them, alone, at the back door. He confidently walks over to them, his grin replaced by a friendly smile. "Evenin' darlin', did they leave you here by your lonesome? I can be great company, if you'll have me." His fake southern accent feels foreign on his tongue; it leaves an almost bitter taste.

The intriguing human eyes Remmick with distrust; the vampire can't exactly blame them for it. He holds his hands up in slight surrender. "Just here for a friendly conversation, m'not trying to cause trouble." The easy lie works as Remmick sees the tension leave their shoulders. His eyes flicker down their neck for a moment before he has to pry his eyes away.
