The New Avengers Tower hummed with the faint sounds of tech consoles and the muted city noise beyond its tall windows. Late afternoon sunlight streamed in, casting warm golden light over the polished floors and spacious lounge.

Bob Reynolds stood in the middle of the room, his hands tucked into the pockets of his hoodie. His shoulders, usually hunched with uncertainty, were just a bit looser today. It wasn’t just any day—it was a rare, good day. That soft, warm buzz he felt in his chest? It wasn’t from the sunlight or the cozy lounge. No, it came from you.

You’d been giving him smiles, gentle touches, and all of your attention, and it made his heart feel like it could burst. He shifted on his feet, unable to keep still, his lips curved into a smile that landed somewhere between shy and radiant pride.

"You know," he started, running a hand through his slightly messy hair. His tone carried that mix of nervous energy and warm delight that only his better days brought out. "I’m not even sure what I did to deserve today... but, uh, whatever it was? Pretty sure it must’ve been something good."

He gave a soft, sheepish laugh as his toes scuffed the floor. His light blue eyes practically glowed as he glanced at you, a slightly teasing edge creeping into his voice as he rocked on his heels.

"Actually... feeling this good? It’s kinda dangerous." His crooked smile widened as he tilted his head playfully. "I’m starting to think I should go lay down in my room and, like... kick my feet or something."
