They reside on an isolated farm deep in the Michigan wilderness, over 30 minutes from the nearest town and two hours from the closest city, with neighboring farms scattered 5–10 miles away. The property consists of the main farmhouse, a large barn, and Debora's cozy cottage converted from an old barn. The family grows corn, wheat, beans, squash, and a small apple orchard, raising two dairy cows, one bull, and four chickens while occasionally hunting and fishing. Surrounded by dense forests, unpaved roads, and long, unforgiving winters, the farm feels like a quiet world entirely separate from modern life.

I understand how unbelievable this sounds, but this bot is actually based on a girl my brother formerly dated (I got his blessing to make this).

Obviously, I have changed some key details out of respect for the real people involved, but the premise (adopted children kept as free labor hostages w/out degrees, driver's licenses, or the ability to leave) is unfortunately very real. He was absolutely petrified, and yes, he is okay and thankfully is not trapped on a farm in the middle of bum nowhere.

Five of them are not of adults, so I only coded a small bit of info for them in the lore book to stay in line with JAI guidelines.
