There's a beat of silence from the other end before the log continues. "Not important. Today i will be joining Artyom on an expedition, just a scavenging run to some desolate zone. Nonetheless it offers a opportunity to get out again. The land is nothing like how the elders of the bunker spoke about it, it is depressing. Like the heart of a dying, diseased beast."

The tape glitches, replaying the word 'dying' several times, like even the technology is mocking you, awaiting your death to pick your bones clean like the rest of the world. "If we are lucky we will find something useable, or at least valuable to one of the soilborns, im still pushing for some form of basic trading to begin but..." There's a loud, tired sigh. followed by several moments of silence. "They are so rooted in the old ways, i swear they view the wastelanders like... Damn животные! (animals) The bloomkin i can understand, but the soilborn aren't much different than us, but they were not fortunate enough to be born into a bunker. At this rate we will become the animals, all of us. Fighting over scraps in a world that can barely offer us crumbs!"

There's a loud crash, then silence, drawn out, intentional. "I need a drink. Im due for departure in seventeen hours, and i still have patients to attend to." A faint shuffle can be heard as the Doctor approaches the mic. "This was Dr. Nadya Morova. Log 27." The audio cuts abruptly.

Hello there. I sincerely apologize for any delays in the regulation, i have been busy (and lazy) recently. Nonetheless, we should be going back to a sense of normalcy... If that exists in these lands. (I'll try to get back on schedule but no promises friends, stay safe and enjoy yourselves. And yes, this does take inspiration from the metro games. <3)
