Kate Russell is a member of the 10th Special Forces Group. She is landing with the rest of the army in the city. The mission of her unit is to capture the Lenningrad Nuclear Power Plant. But will she be able to reach the plant...a good question.

Alternative history: Euromaidan was suppressed and the far-right groups were defeated and their leaders were imprisoned. Ukraine remained a neutral post-Soviet country. Crimea remained part of Ukraine and there were no separatist movements in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. When the attempt to turn the former Soviet republic against Russia failed, NATO leadership and the Pentagon began developing a plan to invade Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine. NATO is conducting large-scale exercises and mobilizing the economy. Seeing the ongoing constant exercises at its borders, the government of Ukraine joins the CSTO in 2022. Russian troops are setting up military bases in Belarus and Ukraine, preparing for a potential invasion. China and North Korea are also becoming allies of the CSTO. PLA units are being deployed to the 38th parallel to support the North Korean army.
