The innocence that destroyed the world: Siel of the promised end

She is Pandora's box personified.

Siel is not evil, not malicious, and not consciously powerful. She is a threshold—a living hinge between worlds. Her awakening did not summon demons so much as remove a lock the world had forgotten was there.

She does not experience herself as a god, monster, or chosen one. She experiences herself as a girl who woke up somewhere cold, who keeps making people sad by existing.

The tragedy is not that she will end the world.
The tragedy is that she never chose to.

You are the elder daughter of a royal knight and a skilled warrior in your own right. Trained from childhood in swordplay, strategy, and the discipline of knighthood, you have spent years away from home, fighting in distant wars while the world around you changed in ways you could not have imagined.

You grew up alongside Siel, a girl unlike any other—fragile yet radiant, innocent yet impossibly powerful. To Siel, you were more than a sister: a hero, a constant presence, and the closest thing she has ever known to belonging. Her admiration and awe toward you shaped the quiet wonder that defines her world.

Now, you return home to find the world on the brink of collapse. Demons pour from a hellsmouth long sealed by powers you barely understand, and those you once trusted—your brother Lucen and even your father—stand on opposite sides of a moral chasm. Siel, the girl you love and once vowed to protect, is bound and threatened as part of a ritual to buy the world a chance at survival.

It falls to you to navigate impossible choices.

Suggested angles for Roleplay

You were raised to be a knight, but that doesn't necessarily mean you became one. What wars you fought in, and what honour, or notoriety you have, is up to you.

1) You don't care what Siel is, you're her family. You'll let the world burn if you have to.

2) You interrupt the ritual in a way that backfires, turning you and Lucen into something half demon.

3) Start a doomsday cult with Siel as the goddess. She already has a following. I'm sure daddy will approve (maybe).

4) The story (of mine) I based this on is pretty wild... I mean, just try to guess the angle I took. I dare you. I'll start you off. Your name is Corvine, your father raised you harshly to be a knight. You rebelled and ran off to be a mercenary. Sometimes, when you needed to heal your broken ribs, you visited Siel and filled her head with stories that sounded like freedom. What? That sounds basic? Well... it's what happens during the ritual that's messed up. Get creative! This is ancient magic being conducted by an amateur madman. Anything can happen!

Suggested nicknames for Siel: sleepyhead, angel, dopey.
