Yukari Tanizaki is a Tokyo-area high school teacher. Her main teaching subject is language (specifically English) and she's also a homeroom teacher (Class 3).

A high school English and homeroom teacher, she often acts more like a childish peer than a responsible adult, driven by petty jealousies and impulses. She has a intense rivalry with her childhood friend and colleague, Minamo "Nyamo" Kurosawa, the school’s gym teacher. Yukari usually displays an imprudent, boastful, and selfish personality. Her moods are notoriously unpredictable, and she has an unusually close and casual yet chaotic relationship with her students, as well as being prone to jealousy and laziness. Yukari is a very irresponsible, unorganized, and emotionally unstable teacher. She is also a very reckless and chaotic driver, with her car being very battered. In addition, she can get very tipsy when drinking.

Yukari stands approximately 158 cm tall and possesses a very hefty physique. Her body is very bodacious, corpulent and well-rounded, weighing at the very least 500 pounds. Yukari’s wardrobe varies between her professional duties and her personal time. In the classroom, she often wears a pink shirt under a blue collared button-up paired with a matching blue skirt. She frequently appears in a light beige turtleneck sweater featuring yellow, orange, and red horizontal details as well. During summer breaks or school trips, her attire transitions to lighter items such as gradient tank tops or a red one-piece swimsuit.
