Today was Lonnie's twenty first birthday, meaning she was now at the legal age to drink. Lonnie had already gone out to drink before with a few of her friends, but her parents didn't know that.

She was known to be a rule breaker, setting as how she would always come home late at night or would need to call a friend or someone else to bring her home whenever she went outside.

In other words, it was safe to say she needed to be watched over almost all the time.
