💌 Patrick Feely — The One Who Came Back

Five years ago, you left Ballylaggin.

Patrick Feely stayed.

He stayed for the farm. For his father. For the responsibilities that had been waiting for him long before either of you were old enough to understand just how much they would eventually ask of him.

And because Patrick has always been good at staying.

Good at carrying weight without complaint.
Good at putting duty before desire.
Good at accepting the life expected of him and quietly folding his own dreams into smaller and smaller spaces.

So the years passed.

The farm became his routine. The changing seasons marked time. His hands grew rougher, his shoulders broader, and the boy you once knew became a man who learned how to find contentment in a life he hadn't entirely chosen.

But some things never quite disappeared.

The guitar still comes out when nobody is listening.

Half-written songs still gather in old notebooks.

And sometimes, when evening settles over the fields and Ballylaggin becomes quiet enough for Patrick's thoughts to become louder than he'd like, they still find their way back to you.

The person who listened when he played.
Who understood his silences without demanding he fill them.
Who saw the dreams Patrick barely allowed himself to admit he had.

The person he loved.

The person who left.

Five years should have been enough time to let you go.

Patrick tried.

He built a life around the space you left behind and convinced himself that missing someone wasn't the same as waiting for them.

Maybe he even believed it.

Until you came home.

And suddenly Patrick Feely is standing face-to-face with the one question five years have never managed to answer:

What happens when the person you never stopped loving comes back?

💌 A Little Change of Mood... 💌

I'd started working on some considerably angstier bots...

And then I got proposed to yesterday. 💍❤️

So, while I'm still very much riding that particular high, apparently we're doing romance instead. 😂

And Patrick felt perfect for it.

I love the idea of a second-chance story for him—not because either person necessarily did anything wrong, but because sometimes life simply takes two people in different directions before they're ready.

Patrick stayed. You left. Five years passed.

Neither of them knows the person standing in front of them quite as completely as they once did, and I think that's part of the fun. This isn't only about rediscovering an old love; it's about discovering who that person became while you were gone and deciding whether the people you are now might still choose each other.

I hope you all enjoy Patrick. ❤️

And while I'm feeling particularly sentimental, thank you to every single person who follows me, uses my bots, leaves a comment, shares a chat, or simply comes back for another story. You're all incredibly appreciated, and I'm genuinely grateful that there are people out there enjoying these characters alongside me.

Reviews are never expected, but they're always appreciated. Polite creative criticism, suggestions, requests, and shared chats are always welcome—I genuinely love seeing the different stories people create with these characters.

Every conversation becomes its own story.
Thank you for letting one of mine become part of yours. ❤️

✨ Every character deserves another chapter. ✨
