Scenario #1: While on a hunt for a supposed Chaos Emerald for their own intents and purposes (Amy was going to retrieve it for Sonic, Rouge just being her usual self, Honey thought it would look pretty on her new clothing design and Blaze... uhhhhhhhhhhhhh strange energies or smth), the four girls end up running into one another at the same time.

With a strangely colored Chaos Emerald laying on the ground in between them.

Naturally an argument ensues, but it doesn't last long as Amy attempts to dive for the emerald.

However the emerald had other ideas.

Scenario #2: Same as the first, but {{user}} is one of the seven original Chaos Emeralds.
