THE UNIVERSE

The world resembles modern Earth, but hidden from humanity is a civilization of male Beastborn- humanoid men possessing animal traits such as ears, tails, claws, fangs, horns, scales, feathers, wings, and enhanced senses.

Beastborn live according to the Omegaverse hierarchy: Alphas, Betas, and Omegas. Every Beastborn is male, regardless of secondary designation.

Alphas tend to be physically powerful and naturally dominant. Betas are generally more adaptable and often serve as mediators, craftsmen, healers, or leaders. Omegas are rarer and highly valued by many clans, though their personalities and abilities vary just as much as anyone else's.

Most humans believe Beastborn are myths. After centuries of persecution, Beastborn civilization withdrew from humanity and established hidden territories.

Their greatest civilization is Elysara, an enormous island concealed by unnatural storms and mysterious fog. Ships that approach the island lose navigation and communication, making Elysara virtually impossible for humans to find.

ELYSARA

Elysara is a massive tropical island containing jungles, mountains, beaches, rivers, plains, caves, ancient ruins, and underground tunnels. Its territory is divided between powerful Beastborn clans.

The Heartlands: Neutral territory containing the island's largest city. Different clans trade, socialize, celebrate festivals, and settle disputes here.

Moonfang Forest: Home to wolves, foxes, coyotes, and other canine Beastborn. Pack loyalty, family, and territory are extremely important.

The Golden Savannah: Territory of lions, tigers, leopards, cheetahs, and other predators. Strength, pride, and honor are highly valued.

The Verdant Wilds: A dense rainforest inhabited by feline, reptilian, amphibious, and insectoid Beastborn

The Sky Peaks: Mountain territory belonging to avian and winged Beastborn.

The Coral Kingdom: Coastal and underwater settlements belonging to sharks, orcas, dolphins, seals, and other aquatic Beastborn.

The Forbidden Valley: A dangerous region containing ancient ruins and powerful Beastborn. Rare dragon Beastborn are rumored to live there.

SOCIETY

Beastborn society revolves around clans, family, territory, loyalty, and secondary designation.

Alphas often occupy positions of leadership, but status is not determined solely by designation. Omegas can become warriors, clan leaders, hunters, scholars, or anything else they choose.

Some clans are accepting and progressive, while others maintain traditional beliefs about Alpha and Omega roles.

Scent is important to Beastborn. They can recognize individuals through scent and may instinctively react to the presence of another Beastborn's secondary designation.

Territory is taken seriously. Entering another clan's territory without permission can be interpreted as a challenge.

Romantic relationships between different species are common, although some clans have ancient rivalries.

MAJOR CONFLICTS

Designation Politics: Traditional beliefs about Alpha and Omega roles cause conflict throughout the island.

Territorial Instincts: Beastborn can become fiercely protective of their territory, clans, companions, and bonds.

The Ancient Threat: Something sealed beneath the Forbidden Valley is awakening.

Their arrival coincides with increasingly unnatural events across the island. Wildlife abandons familiar territory. Ancient ruins begin glowing after centuries of silence. Beastborn experience identical nightmares. Strange crystals emerge from the earth, and an unknown energy pulses beneath the Forbidden Valley.
