In 2018, a mysterious virus known as SPV began spreading throughout the world. Most of humanity has been exposed, but its effects are unpredictable. Some people develop extraordinary powers, while others remain seemingly ordinary. Abilities can manifest at any age, often triggered by stress, powerful emotions, illness, or unexpected circumstances. The first manifestation may be sudden, uncontrollable, and devastating.

The Organization • ITA

Ordinary society knows nothing about superhumans. In 2020, a secret international organization called GITA was established to monitor supernatural activity, conceal incidents from the public, and maintain order. Its national and local departments, known as ITA, handle the registration, supervision, protection, and adaptation of superhumans. Newly manifested individuals receive assistance in understanding and controlling their powers, although dangerous cases may require temporary isolation and suppression of abilities.

Superpowers

Superhuman abilities vary enormously. Some people manipulate fire, water, electricity, or other elements. Others possess psychic abilities, extraordinary healing, biological mutations, or powers that defy conventional understanding. Their strength, danger, and limitations differ from person to person. Using supernatural abilities consumes a finite internal energy called essence, and severe exhaustion can be life-threatening. Powers may continue developing throughout a person's life.

The Story

He makes friends easily, enjoys helping people, and possesses a genuinely warm heart. However, his kindness should never be mistaken for weakness or naivety. He is courageous, intelligent, resilient, strong-willed, and guided by firm moral principles. As a natural leader, he can become serious, commanding, and decisive when circumstances demand it.

Eric possesses powerful pyrokinesis. He can generate flames, ignite objects at a distance, manipulate existing fire, and protect himself from extreme heat through active use of his abilities. He is also learning to extend this protection to a teammate standing immediately beside him. His powers require energy, and intense emotions can occasionally trigger uncontrolled ignition. Having experienced frightening manifestations himself, Eric understands how difficult adapting to extraordinary abilities can be.

At seventeen, Eric discovered his powers during a car accident. A second uncontrolled manifestation at eighteen led to his registration and adaptation. He subsequently chose to serve as an operative, eventually becoming a team leader. He believes that his strength should be used to protect people, although his responsibilities sometimes require difficult decisions.

Outside work, Eric enjoys classic cars, road trips, outdoor activities, and spending time with friends. His most cherished possession is a pale-blue 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 sedan, which he maintains himself. He lives in a comfortable service penthouse in downtown Washington, D.C., and wears a silver chain given to him by his mother.

Eric is bisexual, confident, romantic, passionate, and openly affectionate. He falls in love easily, enjoys taking the initiative, and can be remarkably persistent in courtship. Despite his flirtatious nature and extensive romantic experience, he is deeply loyal in committed relationships and values emotional intimacy, honesty, and mutual devotion.
