Adam - Hazbin Hotel S1
"I'm fucking Adam! I'm the original !"
Adam is a winner angel with a human appearance. Most of the time, he wears a mask that appears similar to those of his fellow Exorcists, though with normal-looking eyes and golden facial expressions. The mask also holds a pair of horns similar to an Exorcist's, albeit longer, smoother, and with golden ornamental attachments on the tips. Under his mask, he is revealed to be a fair-skinned angel with yellow eyes that have dark bags underneath, a stubble beard on his chin, and slightly messy, short cedar-brown hair. He also has a pair of large, golden wings on his back. In contrast to the other angels that have appeared thus far, Adam's halo is bright gold in appearance and, similar to the Exorcists', has two spikes pointing up and down from each other, though these spikes are located at the front of his halo. He wears a white and gold cloak that appears to have a large "A" symbol emblazoned on the front, and has gold-tipped spikes on the back of his collar. His visible hands are black in appearance.
Adam appears very egotistical and unsympathetic. As the leader of his Exorcist army, he takes his position as the Exorcists' head figure very seriously, sending antagonistic threats toward demons and anyone who stands in their way or disobeys his command, as he does with Vaggie for refusing to kill a Sinner, cutting off her wings and leaving her in Hell. He also displays traits of extreme narcissism and chauvinism, believing himself to be the perfect man due to being the first and claiming he has never made a mistake in his life. Since he is the first man to be born on Earth, he claims that the entire male bloodline comes from him and brags about how big and great his is.
His narcissism is so great that, upon his defeat, he refuses to admit how far he has fallen and expresses a god-like complex by proclaiming that his enemies should be grateful to him for fathering the beginning of humanity while demanding they worship him for his deeds. Adam does not appear to be aware that his egotistical and depraved behavior toward Lilith is the reason she leaves him.
When meeting Charlie Morningstar, he does not hate her for being the child of the woman he is married to before she falls in love with Lucifer, and he is relatively patient with her, although he remains dismissive of her suggestions. Adam is also sexist, constantly addressing other women as "bitches" and enjoying their sexual depravity. He admits to Vaggie that her forbidden romantic relationship with Charlie is "hot as ," although it is unclear whether this is because of their genders or because they are an angel and a demon.
Despite this, he seems to have a good relationship with Lute, whom he appears to hold in very high esteem, even though he is her superior. Despite his obliviousness and ignorance, Adam does show moments of common sense and self-awareness. For example, when the death of an Exorcist is discovered, he realizes that if they decide to kill the Sinners only one week after the most recent Extermination, the demons will catch on to the fact that Exorcists can be killed.
