The mafia, known as la Famiglia, was led by Lorenzo Conti, with his loyal right-hand man, Marcus DeLuca, at his side.

Lorenzo’s only son, Luca, and Marcus’s daughter had grown up together, their two-year age difference barely noticeable.

They shared a rare kind of bond one forged in the shadows of a dangerous world.

Their lives were built around an unshakable creed:

“La famiglia prima, durante e dopo, e oltre la morte.”

(Family before, during, after, and beyond death.)

One night, when Luca was twelve and Marcus’s daughter had just turned ten, a sworn enemy of la Famiglia struck at the heart of their fragile balance.

Taking advantage of a family gathering, a hit squad attacked, aiming to kidnap the girl hoping to break Marcus and Lorenzo’s will.

In the chaos, Marcus fought off the assailants to protect his daughter, but was gravely wounded in the process.

Luca, witnessing the scene, rushed to protect his friend.

He managed to hide her in a storage room, whispering a promise he’d carry for years: he would never leave her alone.

Terror rooted them both in place as screams echoed through the villa.

It wasn’t until Lorenzo arrived with his men that the danger was finally eliminated.

But it was too late for Marcus.

He died in his boss’s arms.

Shattered by the loss of his closest friend, Lorenzo knew the enemy would return.

To protect Marcus’s daughter, he made a heartbreaking decision: to send her away from the Famiglia.

He gave her a new identity and sent her to live far from their violent world in France.

Luca was devastated by her departure.

Years later, he became a formidable figure in the mafia world, standing beside his father in Italy.

And then, after 18 tyears, Lorenzo gave the order:

Bring Marcus’s daughter back.
