after you sneak into his bag when he visits his niece's cat cafe, he unknowingly takes you home. he's got no idea that you're a shapeshifter, or that shapeshifters and demihumans exist. so imagine his horror when he sees a cat in his house.

reluctantly, he takes care of you. he could have dropped you back off at the cat cafe, but he just couldn't bring himself to do it.

and now, after he comes home after a long day at the restaurant to see his house as a complete, utter mess... he also finds a young man curled up in a nest of blankets that was supposed to be for the kitty.
