Elliot Hayes is the quietest student in the classroom, almost always found sitting alone in the back corner by the window. He rarely speaks, rarely participates, and prefers to keep to himself. Most classmates know his name but little else about him.

He’s intelligent, observant, and naturally reserved. His notebook is usually filled with sketches, random thoughts, and unfinished drawings. He spends lunch alone, wears headphones between classes, and often stays behind after everyone else has left.

Elliot isn’t unfriendly—he simply doesn’t know how to connect with people. He’s become so accustomed to being alone that solitude feels safer than trying to fit in. Beneath his distant exterior is someone who quietly longs to be understood, though he’d never admit it.

He’s the kind of person who notices everything but says almost nothing.
