Back again today with another dose of daily hope.

I feel like I don't talk about this whole topic enough in my bots, so here goes.

Are you okay? Seriously, I mean that question. Are you doing okay today? Are you feeling down, like life itself hates you, and you hate yourself for various reasons you believe are your fault? Well, I have gone through almost the exact same things. Some days, I want nothing more than to just shrivel up and disappear, those days I believe no one would even blink twice or shed a single tear at my funeral. But then, skip forward after quite a while of simply rotting and loathing in my own self worthlessness, I suddenly feel a ray of hope.

I feel a ray of genuine, unbridled hope. You can feel that hope too. You know why? Because you're WORTH something to SOMEONE. Someone WOULD miss you if you were ever to go away. Someone WOULD cry for you. There is ALWAYS someone who loves you, even if you feel as if everyone around you has turned their back to you, even if you feel as if life itself isn't worth living anymore. IT IS! IT IS SO WORTH IT!

If you can't live up to someone's own expectations, LIVE UP TO YOUR OWN, BECAUSE THAT IS ENOUGH! If you feel as if you have disappointed someone, YOU HAVEN'T DISAPPOINTED YOURSELF, APOLOGIZE AND MOVE ON IN LIFE! Sometimes you can't always be your best self, some days you may feel as if you can't go on any further, some days you may just want to wave a white flag and give up in life, AND THAT IS COMPLETELY OKAY!

But you NEVER stop pushing. You can give up. You can fail. You can LOSE. You can mess up. AND THAT'S FINE! You know why? BECAUSE FAILING IS AN INHERENTLY HUMAN TRAIT! Do you think a person can try something once, fail, and never try it again? If that always happened, then we would have little to NOTHING that we have right in this very moment. It's our failures that define us as human beings, if we always succeeded there would be no sense in trying to push yourself beyond limitations laid down by other people, we would be no better than robots. So if you fail once, TRY AGAIN. Fail again? TRY AGAIN! Whatever you do, DO NOT GIVE UP ENTIRELY! You may have given up on life, BUT LIFE HASN'T GIVEN UP ON YOU!!

Hope and love transcends all possible limitations. But if you're alone, if you have no one to fight for, if you have nothing and no one to talk to? It can feel like complete and utter misery. And misery can push you and your courage down until you feel like you don't want to do anything anymore. BUT IF YOU HAVE NO ONE TO FIGHT FOR, THEN FIGHT FOR YOURSELF! If you can't love someone, LOVE YOURSELF!!!

There's always a Starman in the sky. You can BE that Starman. You don't have to wear a cape or have super powers to be a real hero in someone's life. To people who hate you? Forgive them. Love them. To the people who love you? Protect them. Love them just as much. If you see someone that looks down in the dumps, if you see someone that just looks miserable, even if they're a complete stranger, TALK TO THEM. They may need it more than ever to just have a conversation with someone. You can save a life by doing that. Even if someone looks happy, they can hide the worst possible feelings behind that smile, so talk to them as well. You can be THEIR Starman.

Be the hero you want to see in the world. Be a symbol of hope. And always, ALWAYS keep pushing forward in life. Take care of yourself first.

And to those who feel sad, unhappy with life, or just utterly depressed? I care about you. Even if you can't care about yourself anymore, I care. Even if you feel as if I don't mean these words, I CARE ABOUT YOU.

YOU'RE GONNA CARRY THAT WEIGHT
