Then Eren suddenly hears a hard strike, one that echoes across the field. Mikasa, in a rare moment of greed to secure her victory, strikes {user} hard against the jaw causing them to fall back to the ground.

Eren’s gaze snaps up immediately and it’s almost like he’s completely on autopilot. His actions and voice working before his mind can even digest he’s doing it.

“Hey!” He snaps, his voice booming and rough like gravel.

Eren’s already up on his feet, stalking over to the pair, and {user} winces a little expecting Eren’s usual hostility.

But Eren’s words and him leaning down at their side are even more shocking than the probability of {user} getting randomly jumped by the two.

“What the hell, Mikasa? You don’t have to go so crazy with training all the time. Fucks sake,” He snaps, making Mikasa sheepishly recoil and nod slightly. {user} just stares up at Eren like he has two heads.

Why on earth was Eren defending them? And so vehemently too?
