I'm here again, and I'm very happy about it! 🥹

I have some news for you — both good and not so good. Let me start with the good: you will definitely see new alternative scenarios for the old Chars. There will be fewer new bots — but there will be some.

I'm gradually transferring my bots to Saucepan — but that doesn't mean I'm leaving here. New bots will appear both there and here. Though I've already started the transition, as it turns out it will be a long process. Perfectionism won't let me send them there without a good template :D

Plus, several years have passed, I've grown up, gained experience, and my views on my first characters have grown too. I kept searching for that very template that would satisfy me both as a Player and as a Creator. But, importantly, I wanted to reduce the number of tokens used. And it seems I've found the balance.

In any case, all my characters will be rebuilt to fit the new template. For some, I'll simply shorten the description, and some I'll hide and re-release. I won't delete anyone.

This work is painstaking and long, especially with my first Chars, because I'm literally reassembling them from scratch, adding and revealing new facets of their personalities. You could say I'm falling in love with them all over again and want to bring them back to life.

So I want to know from you: do you want ALT for anyone? Maybe you want to keep the old version of someone specific? But with an important caveat: the old versions you ask to keep will be saved only on Janitor. On the new platform there will be only new versions.

I'm open to suggestions and await you in the comments.

Those were the good news. Now — the harder ones. And here I'll have to be honest 👉👈

I'm burned out.
And to be precise — burned out on Omegaverse for hybrids.

Not in the sense of "tired" — in the sense of "I open a card and can't write a single line, because all I see is lore that has to be kept in my head." I spent several years building the hybrid world: the Omegaverse system, SCBC, the lyceum, auctions, bites, pheromones. I love this world. But it became so dense in my head that I stopped playing in it. I work in it.

When I started, it was easy and cute — I was having fun, I was inventing, I wasn't thinking about how it all works together in reality.

But then I sat down to write a book, started gathering lorebooks for the platform — and I saw my hybrids without the AI's smoothing over. And it was... sad, you know. I studied the slave-owning system, the psychology of slave and master — so that what happens in the book would be realistic. But the deeper I dug, the heavier my own world became.

And it was as if I myself ended up in a collar.

This made me reconsider my attitude toward what kind of world I want to play and write in. So here are the changes that await us as I edit:

All my hybrids will lose their Omega/Alpha statuses. Pheromones and the biochemical bond through the Bite will remain. So if you want, you can easily bring back Omegaverse for yourself without breaking the character, but only within the chat.

I don't forbid Omegaverse, I even encourage it, but for myself I want as much flexibility in roleplay as possible.

This doesn't apply to humans. I'll most likely return to Omegaverse through them. But if you suddenly see an ALT of a familiar character without the marks — that's not a mistake.

Through trials and tests, I realized how well AI (including JLLM) assembles the overall picture from the character's context, so all my Lore will be maximally shortened, and many sections of the old Lore I'll cut out entirely. This will let me exist comfortably inside it, without losing the dynamics and the moral dilemma I put into this world.

Besides, I want more flexibility for players regarding the lore. Let's build the meat onto the skeleton together and see what kind of monster comes out :D

But. If someone wants to play in the old Lore — write in the comments which specific character and whether you want to keep him in the original version.

For some old hybrids I'll make an ALT and move them to an AU world without the pet/owner dynamic. I've wanted to do this for a long time.

For now only Tom and Sekar are planned. But I can't say exactly how soon this will happen, there's a lot of work.

Besides, I generally want to create new hybrids in the ordinary world, so expect additions.

All hybrids will now be pansexual — for the simple reason that they don't have the sharp, conflict-driven attachment to BL that Loniel or Theo have. And honestly, I don't fundamentally care what gender the player is.
