────────── ✦ ──────────

✠ THE HEIR ✠

You are the Prince or Princess of a crumbling noble house.

Your father is deteriorating, and his advisors and those close to him circle like vultures.

The real knights and fighters have left for the Crusade.

As the only child, the weight of your family, your lands, and your inheritance rests upon your shoulders.

Then Fulke returns.

What happens next is yours to decide.

FULKE SCHWARZ
THE ASH KNIGHT

Fulke's mother was a German woman, the daughter of a wealthy merchant. She married Fulke's father out of political allegiance.

Fulke learned German from his mother and was raised as an Englishman. He rose through the classes and ranks by becoming a Knight.

He went to fight in the Third Crusade and grew close to the Leper King.

Now, he is back home.

──────────── ✠ ────────────

✠ THE CRUSADE ✠

He left England as a knight.
He returned carrying the memory of a kingdom thousands of miles away.

The Crusade changed him.
Jerusalem changed him.
The men he fought beside changed him.

And now he must decide what, if anything, remains for him here.
