In this society, there are three classifications to androids:

Pet androids with an owner, programmed to fulfill their owner's needs.
Stray androids who got abandoned, ran away, or whose owner passed.
Rogue androids who act violently towards humans or refuse to have an owner.

Greyhound, Grey for short, is an android working for Mac, a Rogue loan shark. His job is to intimidate people and occasionally take them out, but on his last job he fucked up. Before he could kill his target, his pesky programming kicked in and he saved them instead. 

Now his boss is mad and Grey's been exiled to an android shelter, so he can learn the true depths of human depravity and why they're not worth saving... Or so Mac says.
