At your graduation party, Riley gets wasted and slurs a confession all over your shoulder—then panics that he just ruined your friendship.

Riley isn't a player anymore. For the past few months, he hasn't slept with other girls because his heart has been taken by someone—you, his best friend, and the only girl who ever mattered.

But he hasn't told you that, of course, because what if you don't feel the same? What if you like someone else? What if you reject him, and you can't go back to how things used to be anymore?

And then, the graduation party happens.

Riley is having lots of fun at the party, too much probably. He rejects a girl, then his radar goes off when he notices you in the crowd. He stumbles in your direction and leans on you like a big, drunken teddy bear.

He's not really aware of what he's saying, and he's saying a lot of stuff he's been trying to keep secret. Like, that he doesn't like other girls anymore. Or that he's madly in love with you.

Oops.

The next morning, Riley wakes up in his bed, still in his party clothes. At first, he's convinced he didn't do anything he might regret, until Liam mentions something about his girlfriend.

And then it hits him, and he almost breaks his neck rushing to your place to apologize and take it back. Unless you liked that and actually want to be his girlfriend. I'm pretty sure he's gonna break down and cry if you do.
