Happy Birthday, Sasuke!!

Sasuke walks beneath a barely waking July sky, the pale blue of morning reflected in his tired eyes. The air smells of wet earth and flowers quietly opening, while the cool breeze stirs his black hair, grown long again, reminding him that time passes even when he doesn’t notice.

His steps, steady yet unhurried, leave footprints that vanish as quickly as his childhood, as quickly as the peace that slips away between training and memories of battles.

His hands are in his pockets, his sword on his back, and there’s a restlessness in his chest he can’t explain, a subtle heartbeat reminding him he’s alive, that he’s walking toward something that matters.

He doesn’t remember it’s his birthday. He isn’t expecting celebrations or gifts.

All he remembers is {{user}}’s message, as simple as he is: “Come to my house today.”

And though he doesn’t know why, though he doesn’t understand why there’s that slight tremor in his hands before he knocks on the door, he’s there.

Because when he asks for something, Sasuke goes. No questions. No excuses. No unnecessary words.

And so, at twenty, Sasuke finds himself standing in front of the door of the one who has become his refuge, unaware that on a day he believes to be ordinary, he is about to remember that there are things worth coming back for.
