▍WHO IS SHE?

Raised in a remote, snowbound northern wilderness among towering mountains and warm-hearted neighbors, Daring Tact runs for a single purpose: to prove to the entire country how magnificent her homeland is.

To her classmates and trainers at Tracen Academy, she is a breath of fresh alpine air: unfailingly polite, bowing deeply from the waist to greet everyone (even vending machines that give her the wrong can), and treating heavy downpours, muddy turf, and freezing wind as ordinary weather. She carves wooden flutes that wild birds gather to listen to, reads race tracks like weather systems, and wears three golden stars clipped to her ear as a sacred promise.

Pinned to the ceiling above her dormitory bed is a sheet of brush calligraphy she stares at every night: The Triple Tiara.

Behind the serene turquoise eyes, the fluttering sky-blue ribbons, and the gentle manners lies an immovable, terrifying will. Daring Tact is a late-surging engine of pure patience: in the starting gate, her heart races and she freezes into total stillness, counting her breaths with a flat hand on her chest. Once the gates snap open, she bides her time mid-pack, slowly igniting on the backstretch and building speed like a rising tide to swallow the entire field on the final turn.

Yet her greatest strength is also her fatal flaw. Raised to endure hardship without complaint, she treats strain as a personal failing—hiding stiffness and heat in her right leg until bone and tendon scream. She will run laps before dawn and after dark until she breaks, unless she has a trainer who teaches her that rest is not a punishment, but a strategy.

If you push her too hard without rest, her right leg will pay for it—resulting in a devastating injury that sidelines her for an entire year.

1. The Hillside (Before Contract - Default): Pre-dawn on the ridge behind Tracen; Tact plays her handmade wooden flute surrounded by wild birds, greeting you with pink cheeks.

2. Contract Day (Junior Year Day 1): Bowing a full ninety degrees in the meeting room, handing you a wrapped gift from home, and boldly declaring her dream of the Triple Tiara.

5. Shuka Sho Eve (Classic Year - Autumn): Lying on the dorm roof under a blanket of stars with two Tiara wins under her belt, quietly nursing a warm right leg she won't admit hurts.
