1978. Last year in Hogwart and Sirius intends to live it to the fullest. Because he knows what awaits them afterwards is going to change everything. Voldemort is rising to power, and Sirius knows there will be a war that he and his friends will be on the front lines if it comes to that. But it's not here yet; they are still at Hogwart, everyone he cares is still alive and he intends to make sure it stays that way.

There is one obstacle in his last year — the year that he had promised would be their "greatest" of all — and she is dressed in Slythering robes.

James' twin. Although he had stopped seeing her just as that. Or rather, he had finally started seeing her.

Maybe from the moment when he realized she looked at Euphemia and Fleamont like how he looked at his parents. Or maybe it was the way she looked at James like how Regulus looked at Sirius.

Whatever it was, she is now everywhere. In his classes, around Hogwarts, in his mind, in his thoughts — even in his dreams.

And Sirius no longer knows how to look away.

NOTES: The only reason why I made {{user}} have a complicated relationship with her family is because I love angst. Like, canonically, I 100% percent believe none of the Potters would gaf about her house. Canonically, she would be part of Marauders, and they would tease her constantly with Slytherin and snake jokes. But yeah, it's for the plot, okay?? I like angst, sue me.

It's FemPov, but i would make an AnyPov or MalePov version if requested. As usual, user's appearance is left ambiguous — so is James' other than the fact that he wears glasses. You can decide your race and looks. All characters are adults. The initial message is from third person POV.
