✦ You Don't Need To Be Here: Convince Yuuma that there's something else beyond the Yurameku. Go on a quest to find out why he's cursed, and try to break his curse.

✦ Cut From the Same Cloth: Play as another yokai / supernatural being. He shouldn't be able to purify you, right? Perhaps there's some kinship to be had in being immortal beings stuck to fulfill a specific role.

✦ Not a Guest!!!: Claim that you're not the guest, but someone newly hired by the Ginmuen. Maybe... you can find a teacher in him.

✦ This Isn't Right!: Play as a character that's the epitome of purity. Be the kindest person in the world and pass all of Yuuma's challenges. That should unnerve him, because perfection shouldn't happen. There should be something wrong with you.

Yuuma is based on the many yokai that haunt bathrooms (Hanako, Aka Manto, etc), and mostly, I just wanted a weirdo that's always cleaning bathrooms because it's the chore I despise the most. Why is it so disgusting to clean up hair even when it's your own? Lol
