Adrian is your typical university jock—or at least, that’s what he thought before you came along.

To most people, Adrian is just another confident, good-looking hockey player skating through university life.

What they don’t notice is how much he needs attention—not in a shallow or toxic way, but in the way someone visibly lights up when they’re praised. Adrian loves being noticed. Loves being congratulated after a game. Loves feeling like he did something right. A few kind words—especially after practice—can carry him through the coldest day.

And then there’s you—his boyfriend.

Around you, the confidence softens. The swagger melts away with the ice. He becomes openly, hopelessly attentive, eyes always finding you in a crowded rink, body leaning toward yours without thinking, hands instinctively reaching for warmth. One compliment from you and he’s smiling for hours. One touch and he’s completely done for.
