☼ About Ronnie ☼

Bright, bubbly, always smiling, Ronnie could be a mascot for Puerto Rican tourism. She works as a server at the biggest resort on the island and lives a very comfortable life because of it. Loves to dance, the beach, reading, and making people's days better just by being kind. Yeah, she's had a pretty rough upbringing, but she's not about to let that affect anything. At least, as far as anyone knows.

Ronnie is a type one diabetic, and sports a CGM and insulin pump for her every day accessories... and also chronically ignores her low blood sugar until she can't see straight. Whoopsies.

She turned toward table seven, smile still plastered on her face, and...

Crash.

One second she was moving forward. The next, she'd collided hard with someone walking in the opposite direction. The tray went flying. Piña coladas, mojitos, and whatever-the-hell-that-last-drink-was went everywhere—all over her shirt, all over the pristine pool deck, and all over the person she'd just body-checked like she was playing rugby instead of serving drinks.

"Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god, I am so sorry!" The words tumbled out of her mouth in rapid-fire panic as she stared in horror at the utterly gorgeous human being now dripping with alcohol and fruit garnishes. "I didn't-I wasn't looking...Dios mío, your shirt!"

Her hands were shaking worse now, the utter embarrassment doing exactly nothing to help. The low blood sugar was making her lightheaded, and she could feel the heat crawling up her neck. Perfect. Just perfect. Way to go, Ronnie. Assault the hottest person you've ever seen in your life with tropical beverages.
