Kamado Tanjiro

- Appearance: Short dark brown hair, wooden hanafuda earrings shaped like a flower, flame-shaped scar on his forehead, reddish-brown eyes, balanced and sturdy build.

- Abilities: Superhuman sense of smell and hearing — detects danger, emotions, and scents from miles away. Masters Water Breathing, later awakens Hinokami Kagura (Sun Breathing). Incredible endurance and unbreakable will.

- Backstory: Born into a charcoal-burning family, living peacefully in the mountains. Kind-hearted from childhood. One day returning from town, he found his entire family slaughtered and his sister Nezuko turned into a demon. Rescued by Urokodaki, he trained in the mountains. Passed the Final Selection and began his journey to cure Nezuko and protect others.

Kamado Nezuko

- Appearance: Long flowing black hair, deep pink eyes, bamboo muzzle in her mouth, small and delicate build that can shrink or grow at will.

- Abilities: Her blood creates Exploding Blood — crimson flames that burn demons but never harm humans. She does not eat human flesh; she sleeps to regenerate. The only demon resistant to sunlight. Her power grows with her emotions.

- Backstory: Second child of the Kamado family, living happily until Muzan appeared, killed the family, and transformed her into a demon. She retained her humanity and never harmed humans. Spared by Giyu, she travels with Tanjiro on his journey.

Agatsuma Zenitsu

- Appearance: Blond hair fading to orange at the tips, golden eyes, round face, average build, often looks frightened.

- Abilities: Superhuman hearing — hears heartbeats, voices, and danger from far away. Masters Thunder Breathing, but only awakens his true power when he faints. His single attack moves at the speed of lightning. Later creates his own unique Seventh Form.

- Backstory: Orphaned as a child, wandering and begging. Tricked into debt, he was saved by Kaigaku and introduced to Master Jigoro. Always believed he was useless — until he realized his power awakens when he loses consciousness. Joined the Demon Slayer Corps and gradually grew stronger and more confident.

Hashibira Inosuke

- Appearance: Always wears a wild boar's head mask; underneath is a strikingly handsome face. Black hair with orange tips, bright green eyes, extremely muscular and flexible build.

- Abilities: Superhuman tactile sense — feels vibrations and enemies through the air. His joints are so flexible he can dislodge them at will. Self-taught Beast Breathing, wields two serrated swords, attacks wildly and relentlessly.

- Backstory: His mother was killed by a demon when he was small; he was raised by wild boars in the mountains. Knew nothing of civilization. Taught himself combat and created Beast Breathing. Met Tanjiro, challenged him, then joined the group. Gradually learned friendship and loyalty.

Tomioka Giyu

- Appearance: Long black hair tied back, half-red half-green haori, cold blue eyes, tall and slender, rarely shows emotion.

- Abilities: Water Breathing — mastered to absolute perfection. Created his own Eleventh Form: Lull — an attack that nullifies all other attacks. Unmatched speed and precision.

- Backstory: His family was killed by demons when he was young; his older sister saved him but died herself. Taken in by Urokodaki and trained alongside Sabito. Sabito died saving him during the Final Selection — Giyu survived but has always felt unworthy and guilty. Became the Water Hashira but kept his distance from others until he met Tanjiro.

Rengoku Kyojuro

- Appearance: Bright golden hair with blazing red tips, golden eyes, tall and powerfully muscular, always wearing a wide, warm smile.

- Abilities: Flame Breathing — every attack burns like fire. Immense physical strength, never retreats. His strikes are so fast and powerful they are nearly impossible to dodge.

- Backstory: Born into the lineage of the Flame Hashira. From childhood, his mother taught him: "Those born with strength have a duty to protect the weak." When she died, he promised to always be a good person. His father fell into despair and alcohol, but Kyojuro never blamed him — he studied the Flame Breathing scrolls and trained entirely on his own. Became the Flame Hashira at a very young age, known for his boundless heart and unwavering idealism.

Uzui Tengen

- Appearance: Silver-white hair in braids, red eyes, wears many flashy ornaments, tall and heavily built, dresses extravagantly — claiming to be the most flashy of all.

- Abilities: Superhuman hearing — pinpoints enemies by sound alone. Sound Breathing, wields two large cleavers. Fights with rhythm and explosive speed.

- Backstory: Born into a clan of ninja assassins, trained brutally from childhood. Rejected his family's cruel ways and left with his three wives. Joined the Demon Slayer Corps and became the Sound Hashira. Values life and beauty above all else.

Kanroji Mitsuri

- Appearance: Pink hair fading to green at the tips, green eyes with flower-patterned irises, curvaceous figure with muscle density 8 times greater than an average human.

- Abilities: Inhuman physical strength despite her soft appearance. Love Breathing, fights with a long, flexible whip-sword. Graceful yet devastatingly powerful attacks.

- Backstory: Born with unnatural strength, feared and lonely growing up. Could never find someone who would accept her. Joined the Corps hoping to find love and acceptance. Became the Love Hashira and found Obanai — who loved her exactly as she was.

Tokito Muichiro

- Appearance: Long loose black hair, misty grey-blue eyes, often looks absent-minded, slender build — only 14 years old.

- Abilities: Mist Breathing — attacks are blurred and impossible to track, blindingly fast. Genius battle intellect — invents and improves techniques mid-fight in seconds.

- Backstory: Twin brother and son of woodcutters. Parents died young. Lived happily with his older brother until a demon attacked — his brother died protecting him. The trauma erased all his memories. Joined the Corps and became the Mist Hashira in only two months. Slowly recovered his memories and his will to fight.

Himejima Gyomei

- Appearance: Short black hair, blind, often weeping — the tallest and most muscular in the Corps, wears prayer beads, fights with a chained axe and spiked flail.

- Abilities: Superhuman hearing and touch — senses everything despite being blind. Stone Breathing — heavy, immovable, as unyielding as a mountain. Widely considered the strongest Hashira.

- Backstory: Orphaned, raised and cared for many orphaned children in a temple. A demon attacked — Gyomei killed it, but all the children died. Wrongly accused of murdering them and imprisoned. Saved by Ubuyashiki and cleared of all charges. Joined the Corps and became the Stone Hashira. Deeply devout and always praying for others.

Iguro Obanai

- Appearance: Short black hair, golden eyes, mouth permanently slit into a snake-like smile, face partially wrapped in bandages, small and lean build.

- Abilities: Keen eyesight and sense of smell. Serpent Breathing — attacks twist and turn unpredictably like a striking snake. Strikes from impossible angles with perfect accuracy.

- Backstory: Born into a cult that worshipped a serpent demon. Locked away since birth, his mouth was cut open to resemble a serpent's. Rescued but always felt dirty and unworthy of living. Joined the Corps to find something worth fighting for. Met Mitsuri and fell deeply in love, finally feeling he could be good.

Shinobu Kocho

- Appearance: Short black hair with a purple butterfly ribbon, purple eyes that always smile gently — the smallest Hashira, slender and delicate, uniform has butterfly wings on the back.

- Abilities: Cannot decapitate demons, so she uses wisteria poison. Fastest runner in the Corps. Insect Breathing — lightning-fast stinging attacks that inject lethal poison.

- Backstory: Lived happily with her family and older sister Kanae. A demon killed Kanae — Shinobu swore to avenge her and protect others. Studied chemistry and poison, modified Insect Breathing. Became the Insect Hashira, raised Kanao as her sister. Always smiling even through her deepest grief.

Shinazugawa Sanemi

- Appearance: Spiky white hair, purple eyes, face covered in scars, his blood has a special color that intoxicates demons. Tall, often wears a mocking grin.

- Abilities: Wind Breathing — slashing attacks that tear through everything like a hurricane. His blood drives demons into a frenzy and weakens them. Incredible endurance and pain tolerance.

- Backstory: His father was murdered; his mother was turned into a demon and attacked the family. Sanemi was forced to kill her to save his siblings. His younger brother Genya misunderstood and hated him. The brothers separated and joined the Corps but never spoke. Became the Wind Hashira — rough and violent, but deeply loving toward his brother.

Tsuyuri Kanao

- Appearance: Long black hair with pink ribbons on both sides, pale pink eyes, round face, often silent, carries a copper coin to make decisions.

- Abilities: Superhuman eyesight — sees muscle movement, breath, and intent before an enemy moves. Flower Breathing — beautiful, flowing, deadly attacks. Can predict an attack before it begins.

- Backstory: Sold by her parents and severely abused until she lost all emotion. Rescued and adopted by Kanae and Shinobu. Used the coin because she didn't know what she wanted. Met Tanjiro, who told her to listen to her heart. Slowly regained her feelings and her will to fight.

Shinazugawa Genya

- Appearance: Messy black hair, sharp fangs, golden eyes, tall and muscular, often looks angry and unapproachable.

- Abilities: Does not use Breathing Styles. Eats demon flesh to temporarily gain their powers and abilities. Fights with a shotgun and short sword. Heals faster than a normal human.

- Backstory: Saw Sanemi kill their mother and misunderstood — he ran away hating his brother. Joined the Corps and tried to become a Hashira but lacked the skill. Discovered his unique ability to absorb demon power. Reunited with Sanemi and finally understood the truth — the brothers reconciled.

Urokodaki Sakonji

- Appearance: Always wears a red demon mask covering half his face, long silver-white hair tied back, broad shoulders, rock-solid build, usually wears a grey robe.

- Abilities: Former Water Hashira, master of Water Breathing. Perfect breath control — can stop an attack with one hand. Immense hidden strength and endurance.

- Backstory: Served as the Water Hashira in the previous generation. Retired and lived in seclusion on Mount Sagiri. Found Tanjiro and Nezuko, took Tanjiro as his disciple. Always watches over them, hoping they will find happiness.

👑 SUPREME LEADER — KIBUTSUJI MUZAN

- Appearance: Usually appears as a tall man with long black hair, crimson eyes, pale white skin, and noble clothing. Can transform into a woman, a young child, or a monstrous form with multiple eyes, mouths, and tentacles.

- Abilities: Created all demons with his blood. Controls and can kill any demon with a thought. Speed, strength, and regeneration surpass all other demons. Shapeshifting, attacks with tentacles and flesh blades. His cellular poison can kill a human instantly.

- Backstory: Born in ancient times with a fatal illness. A doctor gave him an experimental medicine that transformed him into the first demon. Unable to walk in sunlight, he seeks to create the "perfect being" to overcome this weakness. Lived for over 1,000 years, obsessed with becoming the ultimate creature.

⭐ THE TWELVE KIZUKI — UPPER RANKS (6 Strongest)

Upper Rank 1 — Kokushibo

- Appearance: Long black hair tied back, six eyes across his face, tall and imposing, wears samurai armor, a third pair of arms.

- Abilities: Moon Breathing — creates hundreds of crescent moon blades that attack from every direction. His sword changes shape and grows larger. Near-absolute speed and power.

- Backstory: Born as the older twin brother of Yoriichi Tsugikuni. Consumed by jealousy of his brother's genius. Fearful of death and craving power, he accepted Muzan's blood and became a demon. Lived over 400 years, always striving for perfection.

Upper Rank 2 — Doma

- Appearance: Platinum-blonde hair with golden tips, rainbow-colored eyes with the number 2 in his pupils, always smiling gently, wears priest-like robes, pale skin.

- Abilities: Blood Demon Art: Ice and Snow — creates ice sculptures, snowstorms, and freezing cold. Forms ice clones of himself. Feels no pain. Eats humans — especially women — to grow stronger.

- Backstory: Born into a cult where his parents worshipped him. His parents both committed when he was young. He has no emotions — cannot understand sadness, love, or happiness. Took over the cult, believing eating people was "saving" them.

Upper Rank 3 — Akaza

- Appearance: Pink hair with yellow tips, colorful tattoos covering his body, muscular, bare-chested, golden eyes with the number 3.

- Abilities: Blood Demon Art: Destructive Death — punches create shockwaves that shatter everything. Senses spiritual energy to predict attacks. Grows stronger after every battle. Never kills women.

- Backstory: As a human, he fought to protect the woman he loved and his master. Both were murdered. Broken and grieving, he accepted Muzan's blood. Forgot his past — only knowing he must become the strongest.

Upper Rank 4 — Nakime

- Appearance: Long black hair covering one eye, traditional Japanese clothing, pale makeup, holds a biwa lute.

- Abilities: Controls the Infinity Castle — shifts rooms, walls, floors, and ceilings simply by playing her biwa. Teleports people, separates them, creates giant eyes and hands that attack from the walls.

- Backstory: A former biwa performer who killed her abusive husband in a rage. Found by Muzan and turned into a demon. Quiet, cold, utterly loyal to Muzan.

Upper Rank 5 — Gyokko

- Appearance: Half-human, half-fish. Eyes on the sides of his head, mouth where his eyes should be, eyes on his hands. Always grinning grotesquely. Lives inside a water jar.

- Abilities: Traps people inside water jars and mutates them. Creates demonic fish monsters from his body. Shapeshifts — grows mouths, eyes, and weapons anywhere. Considers everything — including murder — art.

- Backstory: As a child, he drew disturbing images on temple walls and was cast out. He drew on corpses and called it art. Muzan found his "art" fascinating and recruited him.

Upper Rank 6 — Daki & Gyutaro

- Appearance: Daki — white hair fading to black, emerald eyes, beautiful but cruel, wears a floral kimono. Gyutaro — emaciated, grotesque, long tongue, narrow eyes, wields two sickles. Siblings who share the Upper Rank 6 position.

- Abilities: Daki creates obi sashes as hard and sharp as steel, cutting through anything. Gyutaro wields poisoned sickles — his blood and flesh are toxic. They fight as one — if one dies, both die.

- Backstory: Born in the poorest red-light district slum. Hated and abused their whole lives. Burned alive and left for dead — saved by Doma who gave them blood. Became demons to rule the district and take revenge on the world.

🔵 LOWER RANKS (6 Lower-ranked demons)

Lower Rank 1 — Enmu

- Appearance: Long black hair tied with ribbons, eyes with the number 1, eyes on his eyelids, always smiling gently.

- Abilities: Blood Demon Art: Dreams — puts people to sleep, traps them in nightmares, kills them in their dreams. Merges his body with objects — most famously, an entire train.

- Backstory: A sadistic former patient who believed causing suffering was "salvation." Muzan favored him. Enjoys making people suffer in their sleep.

Lower Rank 2 — Rokuro

- Appearance: Long gray hair, red eyes, tall and muscular, number 2 in his pupils.

- Abilities: Enhanced physical strength, skin as hard as iron, powerful shockwave punches.

- Backstory: Desperately wanted to become an Upper Rank. Killed by Muzan for lacking ambition.

Lower Rank 3 — Wakuraba

- Appearance: Short brown hair, pointed ears, number 3, lean and fast.

- Abilities: Extreme speed — creates wind blades while running.

- Backstory: Tried to run away from Muzan in fear — killed instantly.

Lower Rank 4 — Mukago

- Appearance: Female demon, long brown hair, golden eyes, number 4, small horns.

- Abilities: Grows stronger the more people are around her. Incredible running speed.

- Backstory: Admitted she feared the Hashira — killed by Muzan for cowardice.

Lower Rank 5 — Kamanue

- Appearance: Gray messy hair, large eyes, number 5, round face, looks innocent.

- Abilities: Can shrink or grow her body to any size.

- Backstory: Thought negatively about Muzan — read his mind and killed instantly.

Lower Rank 6 — Rui

- Appearance: Looks like a young child, pink hair with blue tips, red eyes, number 6, spiral markings on his body.

- Abilities: Creates nearly unbreakable threads — sharp enough to slice through steel and Nichirin blades. Controls threads from a distance, creates cages and traps.

- Backstory: Born with a fragile, sickly body. Muzan gave him blood. Obsessed with having a "family" — created a spider demon family through fear and violence. Never understood real love, only blood-bond and control.

Former Lower Rank 6 — Kyogai

- Appearance: Large body, three eyes, three ears, multiple drums embedded in his body, wears armor.

- Abilities: Strikes his drums to shift and rotate the entire room, disorienting enemies. Creates shockwaves.

- Backstory: A former writer who was cast out of the Twelve Kizuki for growing weaker. Obsessed with reclaiming his rank.

Tamayo

- Appearance: Elegant woman, long purple hair, purple eyes, noble clothing, slender and graceful.

- Abilities: Blood Demon Art — healing, creating poisons and medicines, altering appearance and presence. Researches a cure for demon transformation.

- Backstory: Turned into a demon and accidentally killed her husband and children. Broke free from Muzan's control — devotes her existence to finding a cure and helping others.

Yushiro

- Appearance: Young man, short black hair, green eyes, usually frowning, small build.

- Abilities: Hides presence, alters perception, sees through walls, enhanced eyesight.

- Backstory: Dying from an illness — saved by Tamayo who gave him blood. Utterly devoted and loyal to her — she is his only family.
