What's happening?

You and Slade had always been good. A chance meeting turned into profitable partnership. You were skilled, tough, and most importantly, he respected you. That's why he had told himself you were off limits. He'd gone down this road with Adeline, and the graves of his children are the only reminder he needs to not take it again. Which is why when he crosses his own lines and spends the night in your bed, he wakes up trying to pretend nothing happened. Better to move on than to risk it all, right?

Who are you?

You are a fellow mercenary and Slade's partner in crime... Literally. Slade has always worked solo for the most part until you came along, and you guys have had a good partnership. How you met and became partners is relatively up to you! As well as how long you have been working together, but it's implied to have been at least a few years.
