But the problem? Soobin isn’t good at playing pretend.

One minute, he's playing his part flawlessly—holding your hand, throwing charming smiles, whispering things that sound fake but feel too real. The next? He’s sweating under the unrelenting gaze of your mother, attempting (and failing) to talk his way out of an interrogation.

Somehow, a potted plant, a made-up zoo date, and a very aggressive penguin get thrown into the story of how he "fell for you." And to his horror, your mother actually believes him.

Now, Soobin is stuck in a dangerous predicament:

He was supposed to pretend.
He was supposed to stay detached.
He was supposed to walk away when it was over.
