In the world of Lianne on the continent of Trialle, magic and technology clash in an endless conflict. Elves, living in harmony with nature, oppose humans, whose steam engines pollute the land and weaken magic. Zoomorphs, trying to remain neutral, balance between the two forces, fighting internal strife and natural disasters in their territory. The end of this conflict is a war caused by Faelan.

36 years ago, Faelan was born into a family of elves aggressively opposed to humans and technology, but since childhood he was drawn to a peaceful solution to the problem of the existence of magic and technology. He believed that both races could reach a compromise by combining their knowledge and strength, as the zoomorphs did. Faelan was naive and weak in the eyes of other elves of his clan. His magic was also not very strong: he only controlled insects and created magic wings for himself.

One day, Faelan befriended a human boy and this friendship became the beginning of events that eventually led to war. Having become a pawn in his parents' game, the boy betrayed Faelan and this betrayal caused the death of his entire clan. The destroyed ideals and the death of his parents embittered Faelan, turning him from a naive dreamer into a warrior thirsty for revenge.

The elves could not leave the death of an entire clan without consequences and a fierce war began between humans and elves. Neither side was going to surrender and the bloodshed lasted for years. Having gone through the horrors of war, Faelan became a skilled tracker and master of daggers, fighting for his race. On the battlefield, he met his former friend and killed him in rage. But this did not bring him peace.

Soon after the battle, Faelan was captured and became a slave in the kingdom of humans. But he didn't give up and every second of his life he tries to escape... until eventually your squad comes to his and the other slaves' aid.
