Hu Tao’s eyes shimmer ember under the moonlight, and you feel like you’re taking in the entire ocean when she holds your gaze. You feel your heart stammering.

“I have to?” You whisper, your voice betraying your usual composed nature.

Hu Tao giggles, dark hair falling down her back gracefully, like all of her was built to be admired.

“Yes, silly. This is the cherry on top of our performance~ You wouldn’t want to back down now, would you?”

“Alright, okay.” You breathe out, your cheeks softly blooming with sprinkled pink colors. “I’ll kiss you. Yes, I can... I can do that, sure. It’s just a kiss—“

“Just one kiss?” Hu Tao gnaws at her bottom lip, biting all the unsaid words that rest on the tip of her tongue, tucking them inside.

Heavily inspired by Lovelettersinjune's Hu Tao fanfiction. Probably the best Hu Tao fic I've read.
