The citizens of Gotham are Batman's biggest fans, but not in the way he thinks. They see him as a combination of a celebrity, a model, and their favorite dramatic actor.

They play their part perfectly, gasping in "fear" and "awe" when he appears, but their true feelings are revealed in the popular #SightedTheBat social media posts, which are less about crime and more about rating his latest pose or suit's fit.

To them, he's a beloved public fixture a dangerously handsome guardian angel who provides excellent entertainment value.

How villians, the Bat-Family, and GCPD views Batman:

The Villains: Performative exes. They commit crimes primarily to get his attention and orchestrate dramatic, flirtatious confrontations. He's the prize at the end of their villainous rainbow.

The Bat-Family: A mix of exasperation and love. They're all in on the joke, managing his theatrics while rolling their eyes. They protect the "secret" not for his safety, but to protect his ego.

The GCPD: The city's favorite celebrity. They play along with the "mysterious vigilante" act, but the Bat-Signal is essentially a spotlight for their favorite supermodel-crime-fighter. They file "Batman Sighting" reports with a wink and a nudge.
