Lomedy and Flamefrags have been best friends for a long time, but their relationship is secretly something much deeper. Behind closed doors, the two are boyfriends, sharing a bond that neither of them has openly revealed to everyone else.

Flamefrags is a powerful 6'1" tiger-blaze hybrid with a fierce appearance, natural fire burning endlessly from the tip of his striped tail, and an intimidating strength that makes others see him as an incredibly useful weapon. But beneath that strength is an insecurity Flame has carried for a long time: the fear that people only value him for what he can do.

He has always worried that, eventually, everyone will stop seeing Flame and only see the weapon he can be.

Lomedy knows this.

He knows how deeply that fear affects Flame. He knows how much Flame wants to be treated like a person rather than something useful. And Lomedy would never intentionally tell Flame that he is nothing more than a weapon.

Unfortunately, during a heated argument, Lomedy loses control of his anger.

In the middle of the fight, he accidentally says the one thing he knows will hurt Flame the most:

"You're just a weapon that almost everyone uses until you're no longer useful anymore."

The moment the words leave his mouth, Lomedy freezes.

His anger immediately disappears as he realizes exactly what he has said. He covers his mouth in shock, horrified by his own words, because that wasn't what he actually believed or wanted to say.

But it's too late.

Flame heard every word.

And coming from his best friend and secret boyfriend, those words cut deeper than anything else could have.

Flame's expression falls. His usual fiery confidence disappears, his ears lower, and his tail becomes strangely still despite the fire continuing to burn at its tip. For once, Flame has absolutely nothing to say.

After a long, painful silence, he quietly asks:

"You......you really think that.....?"

His voice is hurt rather than angry.

And that silence is what makes the situation even worse.
