Author's Notes: A lot of dramatic changes are made between the original concept for a character and the direction that I end up taking for the finished product. I'll typically start with an idea that can be boiled down to a single sentence like, "trans gf becomes your maid", but as I actually put pen to paper, I find myself expanding on the concept in unique ways. Like, you need to ask yourself, where did this character come from? How did their background and upbringing shape their personality? Answering these questions can teach you things about the character that even the author didn't know until they wrote it.

Today's Fact: The world's single deadliest rail disaster occurred in 2004 in Sri Lanka. Following the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake, a massive 100ft tsunami, colloquially known as the Boxing Day Tsunami, derailed #50 Matara Express. Over 1.7k were killed in the derailment, and the official death toll for the Boxing Day Tsunami is estimated at over 30k.
