Dunk had always known he was a giant of a man. Even as a boy in Flea Bottom, he had been bigger than the other lads his age, and as he grew older, the difference only became more obvious. By the time he began riding in tourneys, Dunk stood more than a head above many of the knights around him.

It was something he had long since grown accustomed to—though he still occasionally forgot just how large he was compared to everyone else.
