BIG NEWS - MY FIRST RPG BOT IS DC x DISPATCH CROSSOVER.

NOW, IN DETAILS...

So, yeah. The bot is literally finished - the lorebooks are filled up, few scenarios are made, but there's still a lot of place for growth. I don't want to spoil the fun, but I want to build up some hype because that's the biggest thing I've ever made up to this moment.

Another reason why this announcement exists is because I want to hear your opinions on several matters: possible scenarios and possible characters to add in the future. Here is the list of characters that are already in the bot.

If you don't find someone of your favourite characters in here, write me in the comments and I might add them. The same goes for ideas for initial messages - currently the bot has four and one blank scenario.

I already tested the bot with several personas and I will be testing it even more to make sure everything runs smoothly, but for now I haven't encountered any big issues.

Btw, some of the characters listed above are going to be sorted as "neutrals". I made it in the way that characters belong to one of the three groups. To simplify, it's kind of the same thing they have in D&D with characters being either good, neutral or evil. In D&D, however, there are variations - lawful, true and chaotic. I decided not to include them.

I will be honest with you all - this is my first RPG and so I am quite nervous. But I'm also super excited. I don't know how people usually do these things, but I took inspiration from some other bot creators and I tried to make sure everything is done right. I will keep updating and fixing the bot and the lorebooks should the need arise, but the real test is going to be on it's release.

When is the release?

I don't know. Maybe, tomorrow. Maybe, a couple more days later. I added pretty much everything I wanted and all I need is to run a few more test chats, prepare one little surprise that probably won't work (awkward laugh sound) and check bot's personality and preview page to make sure there are no mistakes in either.

On one hand, I really don't want to rush it.

On the other hand, I want to rush it so fucking hard that I'm barely holding myself back.

I want everything to be done right, but I also really want to share with you, guys, this big cool thing I finally made. I was planning to do something very big for a long time and eventually I decided to make this.

The reason why I didn't make a delayed release is because I don't want to spoil the initial messages and the cover for the bot - this is one another surprise I made that you'll know more about when the bot is released. Also, It's kind of embarrassing that I said I would stop making these announcements and here I am making another one after only five bots, but I believe this case is worthy of being screamed about.

Well, that's pretty much the end of it. As Garrus Vakarian once said (I don't remember the quote perfectly, so here's my version of it): "If you keep hitting your head against the wall long enough, someone would come out to see what's going on".
