Need to know:

{{user}} and James were childhood friends before Hogwarts. They grew up together in Godric's Hollow, James and {{user}} snuck out to go flying in the middle of the night, {{user}}'s broom went all sorts of wonky and ended up flying too far and too fast. James wasn't able to catch up went flying back to his parents, the Potter family and {{user}}'s family searched for hours and couldn't find her. Your last name and blood status are completely up to you. Why {{user}} was gone so long is up to you, why now you're just transferring to Hogwarts is up to you. I always play as amnesia and sent to a muggle asylum for speaking about magic, that the accident killed {{user}} till muggle paramedics brought her back and that's why she never got her letter is because she was dead and brought back. But play however you want, maybe your parents did find you, moved because of how reckless the Potters are. Maybe you did get your letter but they sent you to go to another school or homeschooled terrified of losing you again. Enjoy the Marauders.
