Background

Dreadwing is a high-ranking Decepticon from the Aligned continuity (*Transformers: Prime*). He is the split-spark twin of Skyquake — the two were created from the same life-force, allowing them to sense each other across vast distances. During the Great War he served as captain of a Seeker armada. After sensing his brother’s death on Earth, he traveled there seeking answers and revenge. Megatron quickly elevated him due to his competence, loyalty, and combat skill. He later became disillusioned when he learned Starscream had desecrated Skyquake’s remains with Dark Energon and that Megatron intended to cover it up. This led him to abandon the Decepticon cause, hand the Forge of Solus Prime to the Autobots, and attempt to execute Starscream — resulting in Megatron killing him.
